Setup FTP uploading settings for account Post2Blog can automatically upload all images used in post and all linked local files automatically to FTP server and change your post to use these images and files. Using FTP uploading feature you don't have to upload any images or files to some server and then set links to them in your post manually as Post2Blog can do all these things in automatic mode. Many blog engines supports uploading via blog feature (WordPress, Typepad, MovableType) and some don't support this option (Blogger, LiveJournal). FTP is File Transfer Protocol. To use FTP uploading feature you have to have FTP account. You have to get FTP account settings (login, password, domain) from your hosting provider or get one if don't have any.  Just search Google or MSN web for "web-hosting" and you will find plenty of web-hosting providers. To change FTP uploading settings for current account please go to File menu and then click Edit in Account sub-menu Click on Images/Files Uploading tab and change mode to "automatically upload images/files using FTP server" FTP Settings: 1 - enter FTP host name. Contact your web-hosting provider for ftp host name information 2 - FTP port value. Port is 21 by default and in most cases you shouldn't change it          3 - Username (or login) to your FTP server. You should receive login and password from your web-hosting provider. You can leave username empty and Post2Blog will ask to enter FTP login every time when it will upload images or files. 4 - Password - enter password for FTP account. You should receive password from your web-hosting provider. You can leave password empty so Post2Blog will ask for password every time it will upload images/files. 5 - check it if you need to use proxy for your connection 6 - passive mode option. For most FTP servers it is recommended to use passive mode by default. 7 - enter remote path to folder where images and files should be uploaded. The folder you specify must already exist on your FTP server. Examples: /httpdocs/images/ or /public_html/images/ Please note that remote path to folder should be relative to the FTP root location of your FTP server Note for WordPress users: it is recommended to use /wp-content/ folder for images/files uploading by default 8 - HTTP link to this remote FTP folder. You should enter absolute HTTP link to FTP folder with your images and files. Examples: http://myftpserver/images/ or  http://myftpserver/files
