رحل المناضل رحل أحمد نبيل الهلالي القاهرة في 18 يونيو 2006 الشبكة العربية لمعلومات حقوق الإنسان تنعي إلي الشعب المصري والعربي الأستاذ احمد نبيل الهلالي القانوني البارز واهم المدافعين عن الحريات في مصر علي مدي ما يزيد عن نصف قرن من الزمان والذي ساهم بالدفاع ,عن جميع القوي السياسية بكافة فصائلها , ليعطينا درسا في التجرد والسمو والفهم الحقيقي لحقوق الإنسان , حني لقبه الجميع بالقديس . وان كنا فقدناه جسداً فلنا في ميراثه الفكري والعملي الكثير لنستلهمه معالم لنا في طريقنا للدفاع عن الحرية والعدل . الجنازة غدا الإثنين 19 يونيو 2006 مسجد عمر مكرم بالقاهرة |

The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information mourns the loss of Ahmed Nabil Al-Helali, the prominent legal thinker and one of the most important defender of liberties in Egypt for over half a century and who has contributed through his defence of all political forces to give us a lesson in devotion, loftiness, and a real understanding of human rights. He was known by all as the "saint".
If we have lost his body, he has left us his intellectual and practical heritage that gives us a guide to our path in the defence of liberties and justice.
The funeral procession is tomorrow, 19 June 2006, in Omar Makram Mosque in Cairo
